Lord Mayor’s Spring Event 2025 – This Is Me

On Tuesday, 25th March 2025, Esharelife was excited to attend the Lord Mayor’s Appeal spring event – This Is Me. Hosted by UBS, the event brought together organisations from across the City of London to explore mental health challenges and the role of community in the workplace.

The morning began with an insightful panel discussion led by Phil Canale, the newly appointed Chair of the This Is Me initiative. The expert panel, consisting of Jane Lovibond from BNY, Jessica Cobb from BlackRock and Mariana Bolivar from MQ Mental Health Research, provided advice on a range of topics: The role of internal networks in creating connections, the importance of belonging and the impact of community on mental health.

The panel was followed by a roundtable discussion exploring how workplaces can create a sense of community and foster mental well-being. Esharelife’s newly appointed Ambassador, Maria Wall, was nominated to present the feedback, recommending that organisations consider an intersectional approach that combines mental health and equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.

Esharelife values mental well-being as a key aspect of sustainable community development. We are proud to support the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and their work with MQ Mental Health Research, developing an evidence-based Leadership Playbook to implement effective strategies for sustainable mental health strategies in workplaces across the country.
