6th Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball

On 16th November 2024, the 6th Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball was held at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. It was an evening of celebrity entertainment and philanthropy alongside a highly successful silent auction. The event was attended by high-profile guests including actress Elizabeth Hurley, singer Patsy Kensit and former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson. An astounding £1,204,488.78 was raised, surpassing last year’s grand total and ensuring that the Ball’s charity partners will receive significant support in the coming year.

Every year a selection of British-based charity partners are selected by the Ball. This year’s beneficiary charities included the Anne Frank Trust UK, Mahdlo Youth Zone, Rainbow Trust, Seashell and Variety.

The Anne Frank Trust UK is an education charity seeking to empower young people to challenge prejudice in all its forms. The Mahdlo Youth Zone is a youth centre open seven days a week, offering art, music, sport and social experiences to young people for 50p per visit. The Rainbow Trust supports the families of children affected by life-threatening or terminal illnesses. Seashell has established two education centres since its inception, working to educate and support young people with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism. Variety provides grants and practical support to disabled and disadvantaged children.

These organisations support education, equality and personal development for young people of all abilities and circumstances. This mission is shared with Esharelife, which remains dedicated to encouraging bright and sustainable futures for children and young people internationally.

With this in mind, Esharelife was proud to have been able to contribute to the evening’s efforts, supporting the Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN).

GMYN provides education, training and a sense of community to children and young people between the ages of 10-25. Through skills development and personal growth opportunities, GMYN encourages individuals to achieve independent and sustainable futures.

Esharelife thanks our supporters for making such contributions possible, and congratulates the Michael Johnson MBE Charity Ball on another impressive and inspiring year.
